BTTF facilitates screening for patients who cannot access New York State (NYS) Screening Partnership resources. These include patients who are 35-40, patients 40-50 years old in select boroughs, undocumented patients and high-risk patients under 35 years old. BTTF also provides clinical breast exams to patients 25 – 35 years old. BTTF pays $100-$130 per mammogram. BTTF works closely with the Project Renewal Scan Van to best serve uninsured women in their communities and offers screenings on weekdays AND weekends to ensure access for all.

Approximately 7% of women with breast cancer are diagnosed before the age of 40 years, and this disease accounts for more than 40% of all cancer in women in this age group.
